Welcome !

Welcome to the Troop 4 website!

Troop 4 focuses on building leaders through a unique mentoring program and providing a wide variety of adventurous trips.

The friendly and accepting environment enables boys to learn life skills, teach those skills to others and follow a path towards leadership. We notice that our boys go on to be leaders in their schools, on their teams and many achieve scouting's highest rank of Eagle. The boys have fun and grow into responsible men who excel in college and life.

  • >130 Eagle Scouts since 1970
  • 12 Scouts achieved Eagle during 2015/2016 scouting year

  • Boy led Troop with SPL and ASPL leading the PLCs, Troop Meetings, and Trip Planning
  • Involved adult leaders (Committee and ASMs)
  • Scout Leaders attend National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT)
  • 2 Scouts a year attend American Legion Boys State

Scouting for Food

Posted by ggrosner on Oct 23 2017 - 7:21pm

Hello Scouts,

It is the time of year again for Scouting for Food! This is an important service project as our Boy Scout Oath tells us "To Help Other People at All Times" and our Scout Slogan tells us to "Do a Good Turn Daily". Door tags and distribution routes will be handed out at our Troop meeting this Thursday. Tags should be placed on the doors (not mailboxes) of the houses on your route this Saturday or Sunday (10/28 or 10/29). The door tags will ask residents for donations for the Westboro Food Pantry. The door tags explain that the donations will be picked up on the following Saturday 11/4 (The pick up will be done by a Westboro Boy Scout Troop). Please email me at dlowy67@townisp.com after you have finished distribution of your door tags.
